ACRA invites abstracts relating to cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention across research, clinical practice, and service delivery. Authors must select the category that best reflects the primary intent of their work.

NOTE: These new abstract categories are based on content of the abstract, and NOT the professional background of the authors.

 

Abstract Categories

1. Research (Clinical and Non‑Clinical)
For systematic research designed to generate generalisable knowledge, including clinical studies, population health, behavioural science, methods research, and systematic reviews.
✅ Eligible for Research Prize

2. Quality Improvement and Service Innovation
For projects aimed at improving the quality, access, equity, or delivery of cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention services (e.g. audits, QI initiatives, service redesign).
✅ Eligible for Clinical Prize

3. Clinical Cases and Experiences
For educational reports describing individual patients or small case series that highlight instructive or novel clinical scenarios.
❌ Not eligible for prize sessions but can be included as posters/invited orals in relevant sessions.
